How to clear notifications?

How do I clear the list of threads in my notifications? I’ve marked all read but can’t find how to wipe the list.

Why do you need to wipe it?

Thanks @Bluntness100 - just because I want to, no other reason.

I must have done it in the past, unless it is self-limiting and disappears after a while? But can’t for the life of me work it out now.

I'm using chrome and if I click on the bell, I have the option to mark all notifications as read - do you have this?

fire fox, and chrome. yes but I want them to disappear as well as be marked read. they are fucking annoying and clutter up the screen.

Hello @LilyMumsnet - yes, I can mark all read, but like BlackeyedSusan I want to clear them off the screen, not stare at them for all eternity.

Sorry but the only option we have is to mark as read - we will pass your feedback over to the development team.

Thanks @LilyMumsnet. Is there a way in Settings to turn off further notifications so they don’t keep racking up?
