Sick and tired of seeing the same ad all the time

Totally fed up of seeing the New Look advert across the top of the screen and down both sides, especially the picture of the woman pouting and thrusting her jeans-clad arse towards the camera. Been seeing it for the best part of a week now.

Can't you do something, MNHQ?

Can we have a screenshot of the advert, and can you explain how it's affecting usability on the site?

I can't do screenshots on this chromebook, and it's irritating the crap out of me seeing the damned ad all the time.

The physical 'usability' of the screen is ok. I'm just sick of the sight of the same advert over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Yes, it's the same and my settings are for no autoplay but this seems to override it, so annoying.

I actually came on here to ask about it. Surely it can at least be made static?

I know the one you mean it is quite in your face surrounding the screen

Hi @PinkBuffalo thanks for the screenshot. Please can you send us the URL of the ad? If you turn your phone/device to airplane mode or turn off the connection, you should be able to just click on the ad. This will show the URL which you can copy and paste without actually opening the webpage.

The trouble is not so much that the advert is there, the issue is that it is the SAME advert for New Look and I'm absolutely sick of the sight of it. I started the thread a week ago and it had already been annoying me for days even then.

It's like a stuck record. I don't want to see those particular ads any more. I never want to see them ever again.

Why has the same advert been shown for weeks? It is definitely counter-productive, and is infuriating.

Agree the New Look ads are annoying, and the model with her bum in the camera is just weird.

Here we are on the 26th February and STILL the same advert. Continously.

What is going on?

I think New Look must have an advertising monopoly going on. I’ve seen the same annoying advert on several sites now.
