Email alerts and app

Is there a way to only recieve email alerts for threads I've started? I get alerts for any I'm watching I think and so I'm missing updates on my own threads as I don't have time to read them all as there are so many. Also I have the app but it's not very good - is there a way to get the app to alert me to new posts on my threads or do I have to just keep checking?

My other issues with the app are that I can only post on one topic (sleep! I'm assuming it got stuck after I posted there once). How can I fix this? Also, when I scroll it just repeats the same threads over and over again - is this the same for everyone? Thanks!

Can you let us know if you're using the latest version of the app please as you should be free to post on other topics?

Yes, latest version - there's no updates available, I'm on android if that matters.

Hi @Cakeandslippers thanks for that info. Please can you try deleting and reinstalling the app and if you still have the same issue, just let us know the device you're on, and if possible send a screenshot?

Thank @soniamumsnet I have done that now but now I can't post at all! If I press 'please select topic' the app just crashes. I've tried a few times. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s8
