Why is Ann Summers the only ad I’m seeing?

Seriously, it’s on every single thread multiple times! Is no one else advertising with Mumsnet anymore? It’s really not making me want to visit their site and but their crappy underwear!

I’m getting fed up of seeing Ann Summers ads too. May not be the only ads but definitely the dominant ones and they feel really inappropriate. I thought getting Ann Summers type lingerie for Valentines was accepted as being a really naff gift and actually a gift for the giver. Why is it suddenly being pushed at the Mumsnet population as something we’d want?

It had gone back to normal, but now I’m only seeing the Ann Summers as again. TBH I don’t really need to see these women frolicking around in their underwear constantly!

My Facebook ads are all things I seem to talk about but not actually research. Our phones listen.. which I don’t mind. I quite like seeing the tailored ads!

Ann Summers ad for me as well everywhere, I’m feeling itchy just looking at the horrible looking underwear made out of nasty scratchy fabric.

Hi @Blueberryflavour thanks for reporting this. Are you able to send a screenshot and the URL of the ad please?

If you turn your phone/device to airplane mode or turn off the connection, you should be able to just click on the ad. This will show the URL which you can copy and paste without actually opening the webpage.

Can I add I have also been bombarded by Ann Summers ads. I have never done anything that would suggest that I am interested in such a product. Ironically the place I get them most is on FWR so I have assumed it was a deliberate unpleasant tactic. Seeing what are basically soft porn shots of women in the middle of earnest feminist discussion is quite surreal.

Ann Summers adverts are not appearing for me today at all, they were on every thread for me yesterday and I tried quite a few to check. I’ve had a wee wander round the site today to check but I’m getting a usual mixture of ads today.

I am getting bloody ann summers ads on mumsnet started a few days ago and I am fed up of it. There isn’t even an X box to get rid of them. Given the previous responses on this thread from mumsnet I presume they will not stop these appearing and I don’t want to pay monthly fee for an Adblock.

These Ann Summers ads, WHY?

It says RTB House and talks about opting in opting out, It is worded so strangely that I can't work out if I am agreeing to accept them or not.
I really don't want them to show me a bare arse on serious thread about a sick child and I certainly never want to see a the bulge of a mound in tight pants.

Also on the Thread about the Lionesses clothing I don't get the photo at all.
I get lots of other ads. I am using Chrome Incognito on a PC
