Advanced Search - no clicky links!

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 22/01/2021 23:40

Hi Techs
I've just done an advanced search, but once I'd done it, I lost all clicky links on the page. Not just an inability to click on the threads/messages themselves, but NONE of the clicky links worked.

Reloading the page using "refresh" made no difference - had to use my quicklink to TIO on my toolbar to get back in to where it works again.

This was a problem a while back too, I remember - was it ever fixed?

Laptop, Chrome.

Hi @ThumbWitchesAbroad,

Is this still happening for you this morning? I'm also using Chrome on the desktop site and all the links (to both threads and individual posts) found in an Advanced Search are clickable for me.

We're hoping this was a temporary glitch last night but are just having a check through any previous Tech reports on this issue.

No. They were "looking into it".

It's nearly time for its first birthday !

Thanks, @SoupDragon - you beat me to it. Blush

Will be back as soon as possible with any update.

Yes, still happening - the whole page becomes unresponsive once I've done the Advanced Search - nothing works. :(

Ooo.
Just had another go with a different date range (and different poster) and it worked!
But then when I went back to the original poster and a longer-ago date range, I had a split second of it looking like it was working (a clicky link went red) and then it died and went static again; and now it won't work at all.

Bloody weird!!

Thanks, ThumbWitches - weird indeed. And just what SoupDragon reported on her original thread.

We're really sorry that this ongoing issue hasn't been resolved yet. Please bear with us while we find out the current score.

Thank you @DawnMumsnet!
