Hiding threads in Trending?

When I hide a thread it is often because I find it distressing.

However, I am continually reminded of it when it keeps coming back in Trending.

Please could hidden threads also be hidden in Trending?

Hi @SlopesOff,

Thanks for raising this, we do understand your concerns.

The Trending box shows the five threads with the most page views at any given time. So while Mumsnetters are able to hide individual threads from their own list of Active Conversations, unfortunately hidden threads may well still crop up in the Trending box.

If you hit the refresh button on the box, you'll find the threads will change pretty frequently.
