What is this 'ignore' thing?

If I wanted to ignore it I would - I don;t need to not ignore it and press a button to ignore it [confused emoticon].

Is it a new bitchy thing where we can make a point of ignoring threads?

(I am a bit tipsy) [lopsided ]

Hi Cassandra, if you click ignore, the thread won't come up in your active conversations list any more. that's all. no one knows you are ignoring it so you can't make a point of it. The ignore is just so that people don't have to keep seeing on this list a thread they know they aren't interested in.....
