it just clags up active convos

I could cope with the Christmas one but 3 - annoying - and I agreed with whoever said threads should drop down to the bottom if they are not being posted on

so set them to ignore - customise active convos, it's in there.

screamsprout · 26/10/2007 18:14

I agree. There will no doubt be arguments over threads that people feel are really deserving of stickies.... < adopts "when you have been around here for as long as I have" knowing nod >

ScaremyVile · 26/10/2007 18:14

Have you not seen all the new, fun stuff?

FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 18:15

oh fucking hell, is that going to be the only answer to anything we don't like now, set to ignore?

I WILL STILL KNOW THEY ARE THERE even if I can't see them [irrational]

OP posts:
Alliebongo · 26/10/2007 18:15

what is a sticky pray tell???

ScaremyVile · 26/10/2007 18:16

Erm , no. Instead of ignore, you are free to leave it as it is and carry on getting the arse about it.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 18:18

Fine, Franny. Just get wound up about it and don't bother to take the steps required to solve it.

You won't know they're there at all.

It's not "just ignore it" it's called customisingis. IT'#s the best way to please everyone. See what you like, take out what you don't. Or stop whining if you can't be a$ed to take them out.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 18:19

Bah! Some people just want to have something to whinge about

FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 18:19

ooh gosh, you seem rather cross

you could have set my thread to ignore if you didn't like it, you know

OP posts:
screamsprout · 26/10/2007 18:19

Hey, easy on the Franny. MN wouldn't be MN if some of us weren't a bit curmudeonly from time to time.

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 18:20

It's difficult to ignore someone swearing and shouting at you.

FlameInHell · 26/10/2007 18:21

pmsl @ trying to find a reason for it being a bad answer

ADragonIs4LifeNotJustHalloween · 26/10/2007 18:21

Especially when you were trying to help.

I wonder if Tech can have an "ignore poster" option...

FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 18:25

Dragon, it was intended to be comedy swearing and shouting

i had no intention of offending you

OP posts:
GreatBigHairyMonsterlapin · 26/10/2007 18:31

I have an "ignore all grumpiness" option

FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 18:32

LOL it would be a bloody blank screen

have your children vanished too?

OP posts:
Bocoreepy · 26/10/2007 18:34

Oh i agree with franny, it is annoying - would it be possible to make this thread into a sticky so we can all keep an eye on it?

GreatBigHairyMonsterlapin · 26/10/2007 18:34

No, I do not have "ignore fromage-frais-covered children" enabled, sadly!
