at a guess it is something that tells you what phase the moon is in. I have frequently read comments about it being full moon so everyone has gone slightly mad or premenstrual or something.

it is also supposed to be when most babies are born.

According to my SIL who is a social worker they really DO have more cases to deal with during the full moon.

i used to have a moon cycle poster in my office and whenever it was a crappy / weird day it was always something to do with full moon.

I was booked in at a birth centre to have ds and they had a phases of the moon chart, as there were more babies born when there was a full moon.

I work in psychiatry and it really is true - yesterday was chaos at work! (firts noticed it in casualty 18 years ago when full moons were always busy nights) However, whenever someone tries to evidence it with research, it is always a non-starter

Ahem. Some of us have periods which coincide with the full moon. I for one, am a tinsy bit tetchy crabby hormonal foul-tempered sensitive at the moment. I know I am not alone either.....
