tech - why can't we flip threads anymore?

i've changed to classic mumsnet but i can't flip the threads, help!

But you can set your settings so that they are permanently up or down on customize talkboard

It would be nice to have the option on a case by case.

For eg I have at the mo decided to read top down, but for a heated thread I may prefer to refresh with bottom up...

Go to customise talkboard at the top Roy, you will see there are options..

You can flip if your posts on a page is set to less than the number of posts on a particular thread, the flip option then appears on the Pages bar

the new mumsnet is better but does it have to be BAD colours tech?

You can change the colours back to (virtually) normal, or even white on the customise options.

You can choose your colour scheme - bottom of customise talk board page

i like the colours, they're easier on the eye

but i don't want Pages that's too much!

Yes, choose Mumsnet classic from the colour schgeme list, not the big button at the top.
