I've had to make my sneaky little work window wider.

It looks as though all threads are pinned to the top instead of just one- must be a glitch, surely?

TheQueenOfQuotes · 17/10/2007 17:08

what icon???

Tamum · 17/10/2007 17:09

I thought so- just the Christmas thread now

Bundle · 17/10/2007 17:09

I was just wondering why the Christmas swappie thing was sticking at teh top - remember the poverty thread the other week - got stuck at teh top of active convos. it's EVIDENCE that tech has, well, teched it.

Tortington · 17/10/2007 17:13

i have a sneaky work window with many opened documents confusing to the glimpsed eye

i also dragged my start menu to top of screen - also so no one can see tabs at first glimpse.

photos of ones children also handy to hide MN tab.

in fact

i think tech should rename 'mumsnet Discussions' as 'accounts' pretty generic - could fly in most businesses

Tamum · 17/10/2007 17:37

Excellent idea custy, it's that little tell-tale description we need to get rid of, isn't it. Accounts would be good, or even just "Discussions". Or "Lectures", if we could customise it that would be even better...

OliviaMumsnet · 17/10/2007 17:38

Like your thinking Custy!! Will suggest it at next meeting.
The icon is to show that the Christmas thread is "sticking" to the top of active convos.
HTH

Tamum · 17/10/2007 17:39

Olivia, it very briefly appeared by every single thread, and I think that was the point at which this thread was started, it did look a bit odd, and all the threads were really spread out

OliviaMumsnet · 17/10/2007 17:46

Aha. But it's not doing that now, is it?
(not on mine anyway!)

Tamum · 17/10/2007 17:47

No, it was only for a few minutes and then it was just the top one. Sorry about my last post, far too many clauses!

Tortington · 17/10/2007 17:55

even if'mumsnet discussions' could just say something other than mumsnet - or if it just had the icon - noone but is merry men know what that means.

i once presented a presentation with a print screen - in which was many tabs - one of which was subject at hand

one was mumsnet

boss saw it

so not helpful!
