Photos attached to posts

You can attach a photo to a post. It appears (on my computer) as an image about 4cm x 5cm.
It is possible to click on the image to get a better view. It then appears (on my computer) as a magnificent 4.5cm x 5.5cm!

Is it me (is there something in settings?) or you? Is it possible to make the picture bigger, please? People often post blocks of text and I just cannot read them.

I posted about this before. It’s the size of the photo that the OP has uploaded, you can’t do anything about it.

Oh, thanks coolbeans. I tried doing a search over the last year but didn't spot that it has been raised before.
I don't understand what the size of the original photo has to do with it though; I would have thought that it is down to the size of the pop-up.
How do other people mange to read those screenshots of tiny text?

An ordinary old laptop, not a touchscreen.
I have just tried zooming in my google settings. It works (if I go up to something like 175%) but then I have to un-zoom when I click back off the picture, back to the thread. That's a bit clunky.
