New app on Android. Just wtf?

This new app is driving me insane. I use mn a lot mainly in evenings but each time I check my app it keeps logging me out at least once per session!

It's also VERY slow and keep getting 'oops bad connection' messages but my WiFi is fine on other apps, anyone else experienced this.

Should I just to back to using browser on my phone? I used to do that.

Image of ironically when I tried to start this thread but it had logged me out for the 3rd time in 10 mins haha

Now I've clicked post and I'm back to bad connection again. Just why?

Tried to post again and it says I can only post 6 images a day, I have NEVER posted one before this thread!

We are so sorry to hear this - it sounds really, really frustrating. We're keen to get it looked at as soon as possible. Can we have screenshots of the wifi connection issue and the image issue, and if possible, can you let us know what you're device is?

This isn't what you want to hear, but can you just use the mobile site whilst we take a look into what's going on here? It may ease the frustration whilst we try and iron out any issues.

Tried to post with image attached twice now and had a 'success' message pop up. Can't see em though, can you?

The android app has always been terribly buggy on my huawei, I contacted mumsnet about it over a year ago and the tech team were well aware of the issues. Such a shame when the apple app works so much better. Like OP I've noticed in the last couple of days a lot of threads don't load and I get the oops poor connection message despite being sat 2m away from the wireless router with full signal!!

And the reason my post just posted 3 times is that it kept telling me it hadn't posted due to poor connection(!) Case in point!

Good news - we don't think this is an issue with the android app.
Bad news - lots of people having issues on the site tonight.
