Finding an old thread

Hi there
This has been on my mind I wonder if anyone has any ideas for me. I started a thread when my mum was in the hospice a few days before she died. It gave me a lot of comfort. I'd like to re-read it. But it was March 2018 and I can't find it. It doesn't come up on the 'I started' tab. It doesn't come up when I search for obvious titles, on here or on Google if I put the title in plus 'Mumsnet'. Is there any way to find this or has it gone?

It was an old username and I don't know what that would be.

Hi @ErnestOwl,

We've had a look through your posting history and we can see that you posted on a couple of long-running support threads back in March 2018, but we think the thread you posted about your mum must have been in the Chat topic, meaning it will have automatically deleted. Sad

We're so sorry - we changed things over in August 2018 so any threads posted in Chat from that date onwards will remain on the site, but all those posted before then only lasted for 90 days.

If you drop us a line at [email protected] we can tell you the username you were using in March 2018 and send you the links to the support threads.

Sorry we can't be of more help. Flowers

Thank you for getting back to me, and to be honest, it's probably a good thing. It would have been upsetting. Thank you, I think I will let it lie. Thank you for looking for me x
