Eczema quiz

I know its a sales pitch but its inaccurate. Its says that its a fact that children grow out of eczema. This is not always true and is misleading. I never grew out of my eczema - it continued until I had children in my 30s. DD20 still has eczema. I do think you should check the so called facts that appear in your sponsored content, its misleading and goes on to encourage the purchase of moisturisers. For long term eczema sufferers this might not be medically appropriate advice.

Hi OP

Can we have screenshots and a link to the advert? Flowers

@LilyMumsnet
It's not an advert, it's this, www.mumsnet.com/health/eczema-facts-quiz.

I clicked since my dc suffers from eczema. I was very disappointed by the article too. And my dc is under another allergy specialist consultant in major London hospital.

Thanks pastaandpresent. Its not an advert as you say its official MN content but disappeared from my listing once I complained. Eczema sufferers do not need moisturiser adverts they should follow objective medical advice.

Hi OP,

Thanks for flagging this up. We've passed this on to our content team to investigate now.

If use moisturiser of any sort it makes my eczema horrendous, like it's on fire

I just came to see if there was a thread on this as I was infuriated to be told that I was 'wrong' while typing with my eczema riddled hands! I was disappointed that this so-called 'expert' was giving incorrect information and therefore undermining any attempt to help with obvious errors.

Glad I'm not the only one! I was very cross to be told my answers were wrong.
