Tagged in a post

Is there a way to turn off the "you've been mentioned in a post" notifications? I dont want to know - I'll go back to the topic if I want to, not because of this.

I agree.
I had to set up a separate email account. The tagging notifications caused my anxiety to ramp up every time I got a notification!

I have a separate email account for mumsnet, but I have to go and delete the stupid messages sometimes, they all take up space on servers.

Hi @alreadytaken just popping in to help you with this. When you post on a thread, it automatically gets added to your watched list.

You can go into your Talk preferences page:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk?call=Preferences

and un-tick the checkbox that says “notify me when others post on a thread I'm watching by email".
