Can we have a puking emoji please?

Just that really. I access MN on my laptop and would really like 2 more emojis available - a puking one (so often we have to use the one instead and put [not envy]; and a more beaming smile (between the smile and the grin). The desktop ones often don't quite hit the mark

Also people using assistive tech can't 'read' the non MN emojis.

As I said in my OP, I access MN on my laptop (because I much prefer working on a large screen rather than a phone, and also because I find it far easier to type than to text) and the desktop version has so few emojis.

People have been asking for this for years. When I joined, 14 years ago, it was already a question that’d been done to death. No phones with emojis back then either.

We'll pass your request on to the MNHQ Emoji Committee, @CandidaAlbicans2. We find many MNers are happily using the emojis on their phones, etc but will let you know about an 'official' MN one.

Hi just to add - if you are on windows 10, you should be able to enter emojis by holding down the windows key and type semicolon. That opens up an emoji picker window.

On a mac Ctrl + Command + Space pops up a similar window where you can pick emojis.

@StevenTech No, I'm using a Chromebook. But I've just discovered there's an "on screen keyboard" function which I've now enabled.😃 So now I can do this🤢 and this 🤮 Brace yourself MN 😁

To anyone with a Chromebook who wants to know how to do it, go to "settings", then type "on-screen" in the search box. It comes up with the "Manage accessibility features" page. Scroll to "Keyboard and text input" and toggle "enable on screen keyboard". Tadah! 😃
