So the attached is the ad i just had come up mid thread on my iphone. A bit against the ethos, isn’t it @mnhq?

I know the joky response to this is probably going to be “what have YOU been looking at to generate THIS ad” but the answer is nothing at all unless ebay & etsy trigger this sort of thing.

I’m not sure which offends me more - that ads like this exist, or that you have misjudged this “targeted advertising” so very, very badly.

The ad at the bottom of your thread encourages me to give up smoking. Nope, not a habit of mine in the slightest.

They need the URL to block it. If you see a dodgy ad and want to help:
Turn off WiFi
Turn off data
Click on advert
Copy URL
Post thread containing URL.
