SEN children thread

I just wanted to say how disappointed I was for the thread started by a GP (@baylisandhardon - I think?) asking questions about children with SEN, to be deleted. I know it was at the Ops request, and yes the OP lacked sensitivity, but as the thread was developing and people were contributing long, heartfelt and eye opening posts about their experiences...it seemed to be growing into something quite valuable. I was just about to respond to the last poster and...poof.
I know we have the SN Boards, but they are very quiet, and it's good for these experiences to be out there.
I'm sure this will be deleted as a thread about a thread....but it seems a shame when such experiences are wiped away.

Hi OP

We're sorry this was upsetting - that's never what we want. Along with complaints, the OP also regretted posting and so we felt that we were making the best decision we could for the majority of users. That being said, we will certainly take your feedback on board and discuss how we can keep important threads going forward. Flowers
