Can I turn off email notifications??

I don't actually want to receive an email every time someone namecheck me in a thread. I'm taking part in quite a sensitive discussion at the moment and don't want anyone in the family to see (on a shared computer) when I've got an email notification from mumsnet

Do you know how I can disable this??

If you click on this link to the Talk Preferences page and scroll to the bottom, you'll find the Talk Notifications box - just tick or untick the notifications you want to receive, then hit the Save tab.

I still think the username is fairly prominently displayed in the notification so still not as hidden as I'd like.
I know Mumsnet tweaked it a bit.
Could you make it even less prominent when you contact users please, Mumsnet Towers.
