Dear tech, while you are 'thinking' about letting us have some 'Italics' which really would be great...go on you are so clever you can do it...

Is there any chance of a 'spellchecker' I realise that most mums don't need it, but I do....I am a bear of very little brain and I can't spell and I feel silly sometimes when I can't spell easy words, so any chance...?

Please...please...please [[hopeful emoticon]

You can Grrrrrrrrrrrr all you like Cody, I need a spellchecker! and it seems I am not the only one....now go and put on a 'frump frock' and some wellies and we may be on typing terms again when you have calmed down...or it's the naughty step for you!

Coddy, what's the last post on the DISGUSTED & ANGRY thread? I couldn't work it out. I don't think a spell checker would have helped there.

I think that the spell checker might be a bit too much for Tech... he'll be having to fix it all the time... with some peoples spelling it would probably break under the strain!!

coddy's typing is like being able to do cryptic crosswords at the same time as mumsnetting!! I'd be really unnerved if she suddenly started making sense

I got an email from Coddy once with perfect typing. I didn't really think it was her at first. The bad typing on MN is all for effect.

I still like it though, Kate. It really wouldn't seem like Coddy if it was perfectly typed. We'd all think we were hallucinating!

Ok if tech is too tight to give us a spell checker....

How about an emoticon style symbol we can click to say we can't spell instead of having to do (sp) every other word???

However I still want italics, and a Spellchecker.
