How can I ask MN to delete my post ?

Hi all I made w post on the feminist chat board which did not go the way I expected. I posted the exact same thing on my Facebook feminist group and had a 100% different response and frankly I'm so irritated by it I just want it gone. But I can't figure out how to ask MN to remove it can anyone guide me?

Go to the post, and click the 'Report' button at the top right, along from where your username shows.

Although MN's guidelines say that they won't remove posts for this reason, as it's unfair on people who take the time to contribute... you might find that they do anyway, it's happened a lot more recently, but if not, just hide it so it won't show for you anymore and namechange if you don't want to be associated to it.

I don’t think MN typically delete posts just because you get your arse handed to you and can’t argue your point correctly.

You can’t just have a thread deleted because you don’t like the responses.

You need to say it is identifying.

That's not what's happened in this case. The responses have been downright disgusting. I'll mute it as I can't bare to read that crap anymore but as someone who has been a member of various feminist groups both in person and online over the last 10 or so years, I've never seen opinions like those displayed on the MN feminist group.

You can't report it on the app you need to report it on the website, they don't always do it but they have for me before

Hopefully it wont be deleted. You can't throw a strop just because people's opinions are different to yours.

Coincidentally....you've also drawn attention to the original thread. I only went and read it because of this one!

Have you got the three little dots at the bottom right hand corner on all posts?
Click on this on your post.
Report should be there.
I'm not going to comment on the rights and wrongs of this as I haven't seen your post.

Mumsnet happily zaps anything causing the smallest amount of upset these days although the moderation is very inconsistent. Worth a try reporting it.

When you come onto the feminist board moaning about how women are treating men and insulting the very informed women on there telling them to be kind and then tel, them they are vile, can't understand why that didn't go down well.

OP started saying how offensive women were to make comments about a man then started shouting about the women of FWR are all terfs. I really hope they won’t delete it, but I daresay a few sicks will be along soon and make offensive comments, MNHQ will end up deleting it.

You mean the thread where, when some posters said they were reporting because you were posting in bad faith (screenshooting them and reposting on another forum) you slagged them off for wanting the thread deleted just because they didn’t agree with you?

I have it hidden, but I also know that they have strong viewpoints over there and anyone complaining on there about the treatment of men is never going to be well received.

Unblock and have a read. I think you’ll find it very different from what you expect. Sorry you don’t fell feminism is for you, but each to their own.
