mozilla - thread viewing problems

I'm having an issue viewing threads on my laptop using firefox. (I'm having to write this using explorer I hate explorer, it jumps about everywhere and is soooooooo slooooooooow) . It's coming up with a security error, and has been since the middle of last week. It's only firefox I'm having the problem with

I can open the mumsnet home page. And I can open the topics section and see all the threads. But I can't open a thread, it either comes up with error 404 bad connection, or Secure Connection Failed

'An error occurred during a connection to www.mumsnet.com.

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem'

Sorry to hear that you're having problems viewing threads.

In the first instance, can we please ask you to try clearing your cache? We've had a few other Mumsnetters mail in with a similar problem, and this seems to have solved the issue in most cases.

There are instructions here from the Mozilla site on how to clear the Firefox cache.

Please let us know how you get on - if you're still seeing these 404 error messages, we'll get our Tech team to take a closer look.
