What's happened to my desktop site?

Posted on chat last night but got no replies,

Can’t seem to get onto site on iPad and on phone it’s not letting me select between desktop or mobile site.
Has something changed since yesterday? If I refresh any of the threads I have open on iPad I get an error code 400 bad request - your browser sent an invalid request.
I don’t like the app and don’t like whatever version I’m on just now. Im not sure which one it is.
I don’t recall anything saying a platform was being removed.

Same here - the button to switch to desktop has disappeared

Ok. Still no button.

I managed to get it back on my phone by shutting down the shortcuts bar.

I still have no Desktop button atvthe bottom of the page.

Is there no other way to move from the mobile version of the site? I hate it!

Mine has gone, I was able to go into Talk guidelines but now vanished . I am stuck on desk top and would like the mobile version back please !

There is another thread in Site Stuff about this - you can only have the mobile site on a smartphone and you can only have the desktop site on a tablet or computer.
