MN defaulting to app

I don’t particularly like the MN app so prefer to view on my iPad via the website, yet often without warning it will default to the app (even though I keep deleting it). Does this happen to anyone else?

If the app is deleted, this shouldn't be happening.
Can we just check it's definitely deleted and not just closed? You should be able to uninstall it completely.

I’ve deleted the app again, but it seems to still randomly pop up with threads I’ve previously viewed usually starting with the message Oops, this thread had been deleted (can’t remember the exact wording).
