Desktop Gone

Hi. I’ve always used desktop and sometimes changes to other - but if I scroll down to bottom of page it says desktop and click and goes back to normal

But desktop isn’t there anymore

Help

I’ve just come in and seen the same thing. I don’t like reading the mobile version and just won’t visit if this stays!

@Blondeshavemorefun Click 'Talk Guidelines' at the very bottom of the page. Then at the very bottom of the TG page you should see the link to desktop (might have to pull the bottom of the window down to,see it)

I'm on Desktop already on my tablet thankfully as I prefer it too, but the Mobile button that used to be at the bottom of the page has most definitely disappeared. How odd

So weird. Wonder why they moved it to guidelines which is rhe lowest point of page

I can’t pull down far enough to click on talk guidelines, really really dislike the mobile site :(

Glad it’s back to my way

But why make so difficult to change to desktop

I found it at the bottom of the homepage without the obscuring bits
I been here too long and too set in my ways to cope with the mobile site 😂

I like desktop on my phone, but the only way I can get it now, is clicking on the three dots at the top right, and scrolling down to get "desktop site". The default seems to be the mobile version all the time now, whereas up til yesterday, it was roughly75% desktop/25% mobile version on opening for me.

Afternoon, everyone. We've asked Tech about this and it sounds like the button was taken away at some point. We can see it's been unpopular so they're looking at putting it back. It won't be quite that simple so don't expect it back this afternoon or anything but it is being sorted.

Right, it's gone even from the Guidelines page now, so it's even worse than it was and I am totally stuck on mobile again. Please put it back on Talk Guidelines at least please!

I’m on iPad and have desktop. Yah,,

But not on my iPhone :(

How does that work

So why is desktop on iPads and tablets as they are movable devices

But it’s not on The iphone

Because apparently "mobile device" just means "smartphone"
