Porn ad showing up in my feed

I have just now started seeing some extremely graphic ads like this, among the usual ones for Pandora jewellery and the like.

I am on my own phone, don't browse porn or adult sites, don't share my computer or Google ID with others, so am not clear why these are popping up - they aren't anywhere else.

Hi Stuckforthefourthtime,

Thanks for letting us know - can you recall where you were on the site when this popped up?

We'll be looking into this right away but any other information you could give us would be useful.

So sorry, can't remember and a quick search with the lines in my screenshot doesn't show up anything - maybe the poster history from the people writing in the screenshot will reveal the post? I never worked out how to look up what people posted...

Thanks

Hi OP

If it happens again, can you turn off wifi and data, click on the ad (it won't load without internet) and copy the landing url?

Doing this will give us quick access to the dodgy advert without actually loading it up for you.

I saw the same advert this morning, I think I was on the style and beauty board. The advert had no information on it, just the image.

Another poster just mentioned they saw it on this thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3991015-naked-in-paddling-pool

I got it on a thread on site stuff I think yesterday. Same advert. Then it changed to something else.

Thanks to everyone who reported this dodgy ad. Our Ads team located it and have blocked it, but please let us know if it crops up again. We really don't want to see ads like this on our site!

Well it was a bit of a surprise. Grin Ty for getting rid of it.
