Thanks admin for deleting my thread. I'm at rock bottom, I'm at my lowest point. I come here for support, compassion and empathy....but instead I get 'your thread has been deleted, contact the samaritans if you need help'.
What a joke, this place is certainly not here for support of any kind.

We're really very sorry for any upset caused here - that's never our intention. We don't allow certain mentions of suicide and method, and follow strict guidelines on the advice of mind and the samaritans. You are more than welcome to re-post for support.

It's nothing personal OP. Posters on MN are ransoms, they're not mental health or medical professionals trained to counsel and support people that are suicidal. If someone gave the wrong advice inadvertently then it could have awful consequences.

MN can't allow anonymous posters to give advice in such circumstances. It's too dangerous.

I hope you are feeling a bit stronger. For what it's worth, I was in such a bad place I attempted suicide quite a few years ago. My life is now rather good, COVID and loss of £48k of my pension aside! (1950's woman who wasn't told of the change in the pension age, for clarification!).

Life is always peaks and troughs and, I'm trying not to be patronising, please know nothing lasts forever. Everything changes. From good to bad and from bad to good.

I really hope you get the help you need. I didn't. I had to make choices for me, because no one else could. I tried to kill myself because I couldn't put myself first.

I hope you now get the support you need.
