Please stop surfacing expired chat threads in search

So frustrating to search for something, find a thread that looks promising only to discover it's a chat thread that has expired and cannot be read.

There must be something you can activate when surfacing results to not show chat threads with a date earlier than xx/xx/xxxx based on 'today's' date.

Please?!?!

You can search by date.

It's frustrating that you can't search (or sort) threads by date in the app. Threads from about 2016 always seems to go right to the top.

@heartsonacake

You can search by date.
Not on the phone app.

Hi OP

Can we ask whether it's the android or IOS app you're using?

somewhereovertherainbutt · 31/07/2020 18:04

I get the same (on IOS)

WisestIsShe · 31/07/2020 18:09

I think you should be able to sort search results by date. Some threads are years and years old and so not up to date with current guidelines/trends/shops etc.

Oh, is that why there are a load of unreadable search results? That makes sense.

That means those old threads still exist somewhere in the system, though!
