Just that really. Surrounded by posts of people struggling to cling onto sobriety or coping with family members, there is an ad pic of a happy lady holding a glass of red wine. If you click on the ad, you can get 30% off booze from Naked Wines.

Come on MN, you can do better than that??!!!

I haven't been on that board but I imagine the adverts are related to the individual user, data about what sites you visit and what you search for are personalised to show you "relevant" adverts unless you opt out.

I have reported this thread to MNHQ so they will see your concerns, @AFitOfTheVapours - entirely valid concerns, I think!

I've been seeing that ad all day. Nothing to do with what I normally look for, I don't buy alcohol online at all.
