Apologies as I know it's not the done thing to create threads about threads but I am sincerely worried about the person who keeps coming back asking MNers to call 999. I know MNHQ takes every step to stop trolls from returning to the site but this person seems determined to sidestep every measure, and I'm worried about what would happen if the people who are asked to PM the person end up calling the emergency services, or if they offer help in other ways.

If this thread is unacceptable and needs to be deleted, please can I ask that it doesn't count as a strike against me? I'm just very concerned and I don't know how else to let other MNers know my worries before it happens again. It's normally in the early hours to avoid MNHQ shutting it down. If my thread is deleted, please can MNHQ create a thread about it to warn others what to look out for?

Thank you.

Hi OP

We understand that persistent PBPs can be a nightmare - we can't go into too much detail because we'd be publicising all of our work behind the scenes, which would do more harm than good. That said, you can always report to nightwatch if you have concerns and of course - any posts on these threads or about this wouldn't count as a strike, given the nature of the trolling.

Messages are blocked for new posters for a certain amount of time, so we would likely get to the threads before PMing ever happened. Flowers

Thank you @LilyMumsnet I appreciate your response. I know it's a complicated issue and it's very good to know those kinds of measures are in place. Thanks so much for the clarification Thanks
