It’s because you have an iPhone and the two hyphens are being auto converted to dashes.

It works in the image you have posted but not in the ones we have posted. Looks like you are using the app?

I changed my keyboard settings and that has worked for my posts but I am still not seeing the strike through on OP's posts whereas others are

Hi @labazsisgoingmad - if you're on the desktop site, just put two hyphens immediately before and after the word (or words) you'd like to strike through.

So, it will look like this when you type it, minus the spaces between the hyphens and the word.

Hopefully, you'll get this!

But do we know why some of us can see the strike out in OP's post and some of us can't?
