We're designing a new feature for the Talk boards with the aim of enhancing the user experience - and we'd really appreciate your input.

If you have a couple of minutes to spare then please click the link below and complete our survey.

Thanks loads in advance,

MNHQ.

Done.

Winecheesesleep · 26/05/2020 21:06

Done. I think this feature would make a big difference here, fingers crossed.

Done. Too short, I love questionnaires.Grin

Confused the link doesn't open on my phone- "unknown protocol" apparently.

senua · 27/05/2020 13:19

How nice to have a consultation that isn't only open to those who can travel to MNHQ.

Unshriven · 27/05/2020 13:28

I think that would be one of the least useful functions possible.

Just use 'find in page' on a phone, or CTRL F on a PC.

And the OP is highlighted anyway.

AddedHiccup · 27/05/2020 13:35

Surely this will just lead to people reading the OP's posts and then telling them to cancel the cheque or change the Wi-fi password even though it's been said a million times before. It's going to reduce the conversational element of the posts.

It would be useful in a 'what would you do' thread where you only want a lot of opinions.

iVampire · 27/05/2020 13:57

Not everyone accesses MN on a PC. Lots of users on tablet or phone (whether on desktop or mobile site, or app) do not have the function

And I think it would reduce the dick-brained, haven’t RTFT posting. Because if they use the function and actually read the OP’s posts, they’ll see eg the number of times she’s said that it’s already been paid in, and the start of the laughing at those who keep saying it

What about those of us on iPads?

Use "find on page".

savehalloween · 28/05/2020 23:46

Why are so many features only aimed at the website?

I never use it, am 100% a mobile user on the native app. Seems odd it would be less feature rich than the website. What's the purpose of it, if the website is responsive anyway?
