Hidden topics appear in Active on iPad app

I've hidden a few topics that are distressing and they don't appear in Active on Chrome either on my laptop or my phone.
But they appear in Active on my iPad app.
Any way to stop this? One of them is Coronavirus so not like it comes up very rarely.
