A different issue with site when using Firefox

I can see a thread on an issue with using Firefox to access the site, but I have a different issue.

I'm using the desktop site and Firefox v76.0 on Windows 10 - pages are displaying, but not correctly. All the menu bars at the top are not showing correctly, and the logos are massive, so that the actual content is pushed right down the page. Been happening for a week or so now.

Attached is a pic of the very top of my screen.

Hi OP

Can you let us know what happens when you refresh the page? Flowers

WhenDoISleep · 13/05/2020 20:34

If I refresh (either via the browser window or the 'Refresh' link on the thread), the formatting stays the same.

Although I posted the message above, and when the updated thread displayed, it had the correct formatting.

Although I posted the message above, and when the updated thread displayed, it had the correct formatting.

Has it stayed that way, or reverted back to how it was? Flowers

WhenDoISleep · 14/05/2020 11:31

No, as soon as I clicked on a different thread it reverted to the view in my screenshot.

I have Edge and Chrome installed as well and the view is fine in both of those, I just happen to use FireFox more, and whilst it doesn't stop me using the sight it is a bit annoying.

Oh, and when I posted my message just now, nothing changed in terms of the layout returning to normal, so it looks like a one off last night.

Hi again @WhenDoISleep - just wondered if things are looking okay this morning?

WhenDoISleep · 15/05/2020 15:41

No, still the same. Obviously some peculiarity with my laptop as no one else seems to have the same issue.

Hi OP

Can we ask you to clear your cache/cookies? It's a bit of a faff we know - but hoping it will iron this out for you.

SecondaryBurnzzz · 18/05/2020 06:38

I cleared my cache and it's all back to normal now. Thanks

WhenDoISleep · 18/05/2020 11:40

Looks like I might not have been the only one with a problem then. I cleared my cache and everything seems normal.

Thanks for the help.

Hi @WhenDoISleep - we're very glad to hear that everything's running smoothly for you since you cleared your cache.

Thanks for bearing with us.
