Privacy policy coming up 10+ a day!!!

Is there are reason that the privacy policy had been coming up more and more each day recently or is it just me? 1 a month is surely sufficient, but over 10x day??? Is there a setting I can change?

Hi OP,

We're really sorry that this is happening!
Can we ask what device and browser you're using? Also, can you let us know whether you're hitting accept, the close box or ignoring?

Same.
Macbook Air and iPad. Safari
Hitting accept.

Same issue here, I get it on every page.

Thanks LilyMumsnet: A month ago I was getting the following reply, ever time I tried accessing via Chrome (which I'd used without issues since last year)
www.mumsnet.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

TBH- I never thought to email the moderators at the time.

I'm now having to use IE to access mumsnet, but the privacy policy is coming up multiple times every hour. I shall take note next time it happens to check exactly what I'm clicking. I don't just close the box though.

Hi, thanks for the reports. We're taking a look at this now, and will hopefully get to the bottom of it for you. Flowers

I haven't seen the privacy policy come up since I notified of the issue, so whatever has been fixed has worked! Thanks site staff.

Hi Again Elouera,

That's brilliant news - we do like to see these things sorted!

Let us know if things go awry again and we'll take another look for you.
