Tech.......help....new cross out function

Tech, lovely and wonderful thought the new cross out function is.....it doesn't work if you add punctuation (are you old enough to know what that is, by the way? )

For example......

the little beggar lamb .....works fine.

the little beggar's lamb's...ooops no worky!

and obviously at five to midnight on a saturday I need to get a life to bed!

so do i

it's diabolical not very good

has anyone asked whether we can get this to work with smileys too...or am I just asking too too much?

Poor Tech, he must be very pissed off overworked by all of this
