Can we have a separate AIBU/chat for CV subjectsplease??

I'd really appreciate there being a separate AIBU for virus moans. I've deliberately blocked the covid branch from my feed. But I open an AIBU or chat thread with no hint of CV in the title, and get ambushed regularly.

Or maybe MN can ask people to put a 'CV' warning in the title of their AIBU/chat OP so those of us posting here to avoid thinking about the damn virus can avoid opening those threads?

If I have to see another post about neighbours/old people/teenagers flouting the rules, or spouses not sterilizing a parcel and leaving it in the garage for a week, I might explode.

This has been asked and asked repeatedly (I know as I was one of the many thread starters/contributors). MNHQ seem to have curiously ignored those requests and not been on the threads to comment why.

Thanks for raising this.

We do have a separate topic for CV now and we do move threads where appropriate. We understand the desire to branch off within that topic but to be honest, it's such a big discussion in the world at the moment - we can't really tuck it away too much...

If you have concerns about a particular thread then report to us - we're always happy to take a look and move stuff over where necessary.
