I've got the Mumsnet Beta app and I have just tried to go back into it and I received an error message to say it had expired.

The filtering of OP posts was brilliant, please, please, please can you keep it

Yep, this has happened to me too. What I go onto the TestFlight app, the MN beta is no longer there.

I'm guessing it's gone because it had what are now premium features which those of us who have been testing for MN for free now have to pay for. Thanks mnhq

I've now found since going back to the normal app, that the Report and Bookmark buttons have switched round, as others have posted about 🙄

I've just read Justine's thread about MN Premium, Willow. Suddenly this answers the question of why they've removed the beta

I ma really sad this has been removed from the normal offer. Disappointed in you MN.

I mean it’s good, but it’s not great. Plus it was my suggestion months ago. It’s a bit annoying to give them a suggestion, help them test it which is helping to generate revenue and then be charged for the privilege

The beta basically offers the ability to filter by poster and that's all. Why can't they just continue with that?

How do I get rid of the beta version of the app?

V Frustrating to have beta removed. The filter made every post so much less, um, exhausting! Had forgotten how annoying it was to scroll so much but.....now it's back.

Completely agree!! Really missing the filter button. And yes the bookmark & report buttons are switched!

Bring back beta or put it all live!

Wait. What? You could filter so you just had a stream of all the OPs updates?

And this is gone now?

I hope that it doesn't become an exclusive perk for the new Premium service.

SlightlyJaded, this is exactly what is being proposed.

Oh no! That's the best feature EVER. And I can't afford to pay for premium at the moment (although I would be happy to make a one off donation to MN Towers in recognition of the years of help and joy it has given me).

Thank you to everyone who has been using the Beta iOS Talk app, it’s been super helpful shaping what we’ll add to the app next. We release beta versions of the app to try out improvements before releasing to all the other app users.

When we release beta versions, they’re usually only live for a few weeks or months before we decide what to include in the app. The feedback for these features has been really helpful, so we’re considering how we might include them in the app.

Until then, if you previously had the beta version you’ll need to download the Talk App again from the App Store here.

Hi guys, we've just added filter by OP into the main iOS Talk app. If you don't have it already, it should appear within the next 12 hours. To filter a thread by users who aren't the OP, you'll need to be subscribed to premium, but filtering by OP is for everyone.
