Where's the Alton Towers discount??

I noticed on the discounts on the homepage you'd listed an Alton Towers discount yet when I go into the discounts can't find it for love nor money?? What's going on??

I've found discount tickets for £15 but if you look on the mumsnet homepage there's a box promoting mumsnet discounts and lists one of them as being Alton Towers. But when you go and look on the discounts there's no mention of Alton Towers.

We think the discount was linked to a competition last year and had a time limit - we're taking it off the home page while we check.

We are however getting back in touch with Alton towers to see if they can reinstate it. There's also an alton towers comp coming very soon so watch this space!

Woodpops - I was lucky enough to win the alton towers tickets last time round and have three of them left.

We have annual passes to Chessington which gets us into Alton towers free, so we won't be using them and wouldn't like them to be wasted!

They are valid until 31 Oct 2004. CAT me if you want them

Sorry everyone. I'm still here. Very long story but my g'ma has terminal cancer and is not well at all. Anyway we won't go into that one now. Soapbaox, i've e-mailed you to say I'd love the tickets if they're still available but totally understand if you've let golds have them. Will talk later.

22 October - It our 10th Anniversary and we just want to act like big kids for the day. How about you ?

One thing is for sure - I am not going on Oblivion again - needs to be tried once, but once is enough for me.

This Friday with the kids. We're having a family day so no big rides this time (thank God). I've done them all once so I could say I'd done them but that's as far as it goes.

Woodpops/Golds - have just put tickets in post to you both! Hope you both enjoy it.

The tickets are for 9.30 entry, which I think is half an hour before the park opens officially, so don't forget to get there early and do a few big rides before the queues build up
