I've hidden the CV threads but they keep appearing still!!

Jesus wept the health anxiety on here is mind blowing. And really starting to grate.

I've hidden the CV topic, but yet again, 3 out of 5 "trending now" threads are CV related. Do I have to hide that too? On a laptop using Firefox.

I love MN but this is getting ridiculous now.

As I understand it, you can't stop threads appearing in the trending box. Even hidden threads appear there.

It's the "trending topics" box on the desktop site which contains the titles of threads you've hidden. Or threads in topics you've hidden. Can that box be hidden or disabled??

We're very sorry but yes, if the thread is trending, it will appear in the trending box - regardless of whether or not it has been hidden.

If it is appearing in your active despite being hidden, please do let us know and we will investigate.

Are there any planes to make Hide Topics available on the app? I hardly use anything else to MN.

If you log in to the desktop site and hide topics, they won't appear when you look at your phone.
