AGHHHHH! More unsolicited AIBU Emails.

@MNHQ
It’s happening again. I’ve just received yet another unwanted AIBU poll update email.

Why does this keep happening? It’s ANNOYING.

I’ve always been opted out of everything and been unsubscribed from everything.

Can you please sort it out. This happened in January and again in February and you keep saying you will sort it out.

Hi OP

We're really sorry this happened.

Can you just confirm your settings are all unticked for us, and then forward us the email you received to [email protected]?

We'll pass it over and have it investigated right away.

Same

LefttoherownDevizes · 11/03/2020 17:42

Me three!!

@LilyMumsnet

They were previously unticked but had mysteriously got reticked again. I definitely didn't retick them myself. I hadn't been messing around with my setting or anything like that.

I've since unticked them.

I can't forward the email I received from you as I've deleted it.

Same and haven't received before.

willowpatterns · 11/03/2020 18:48

Same here. Went and unticked again last week, started getting emails again last night.

soniamumsnet My settings were definitely all previously unticked but when I checked them again after receiving the AIBU email the check box for the AIBU updates was ticked. This wasn’t done by me.

I can’t forward the email as I’ve deleted it.

I am being bombarded by multiple emails per day about bloody AIBU polls. It is infuriating. Why is this happening? Come on mumsnet, please get this sorted. Is it a virus?

BovaryX · 23/03/2020 16:20

Mumsnet, is there a virus which is causing this daily deluge of unsolicited, junk emails about AIBU polls? Can you please do something to fix this?
