The poverty suggestions thread is being kept on the top spot, probably MN towers want to make sure people see it and respond so have done some sort of tech jiggery pokery.
The threads below are renewed as normal though.

I was confused by the fact that the poverty thread stays at the top of active conversations. but I've sussed now it's just some form of sorcery from tech to keep it there. and everyone's posting as normal below. phew. I was most perplexed for a while...
