I posted a question for Keir Starmer. Needless to say he didn't answer it but, what a surprise, there was a glitch in the system. Shame on you and him.

Do you always over react like this?

GrannyBags · 03/02/2020 16:53

Did you post it on here?

Pinkyyy · 03/02/2020 16:54

What?

richele4 · 03/02/2020 16:56

sorry what

StealthPolarBear · 03/02/2020 16:59

By glitch do you mean that the question disappeared before your very eyes?

CarefullyDrawnMap · 03/02/2020 17:01

Yes, Stealth,

Yet he's quite concerned about silencing on social media. My point about mass deletions was deleted before anyone could read it.

My first question was posted and ignored, I should make that clear. My second question was 'disappeared'.

Just popping on to let you know that we've contacted the OP about this off the boards.

StealthPolarBear · 06/02/2020 10:43

The op isn't the only one concerned about this. I've had the standard response but I don't agree. Women are being shut up about the large, legitimate concerns they have about women's and children's rights. I appreciate this isn't MN's problem to solve but it would be good to know if anyone in MNHQ shares our concerns at all. For example the labour leader hopeful asked if it's OK to put a man in a woman's jail. Answers only in the context of sympathy for the poor man.
what about the women?
What about the women?
What about the women?

musicposy · 06/02/2020 23:55

It’s not just the OP that’s concerned, though, MN.

musicposy · 06/02/2020 23:58

And I’m old and ugly enough to remember the early days when there was pretty much zero moderation. That was part of what made it. Certainly none of this silencing of huge numbers of women we get nowadays. I’m becoming increasingly disappointed with Mumsnet.

@CarefullyDrawnMap
There was no glitch in the system.
MNHQ removed questions that they didn't want.

BullshitVivienne · 07/02/2020 07:07

In terms of the OP's issue though, the rules of the webchats say that only one question per poster is allowed. So it's not out of line to delete a second question.

Mner2000 · 07/02/2020 19:24

I asked a similar question after posts on the Jess Phillips thread were ‘vanished’ here

It looks like it is ok to ask repeated questions about brexit but not about sex and gender...

Mner2000 · 07/02/2020 19:25

Despite the myriad of issues that women’s rights are now facing
