Hope someone can help. In a thread when you write a message and do @username, Will that person be notified that they’ve been mentioned in the thread?

Thank you. If you can receive private emails from members does that mean you have email notifications turned on?

@Maria3456789 People recieve email notifications of being tagged by default, unless they've opted out of those under Talk(v)/Options/"Notify me when others mention me in a thread", www.mumsnet.com/Talk?call=Preferences

I think you have to be on the website to change that, not in the app.

You mentioned receiving messages from other MNers - do you mean private messages?

If so, yes, other MNers can send each other private messages through the site.
