Please sort this out!!

On the app when you search say 'sore knee' you get nine billion responses for 'sore' and not really anything about the second bit..

But for the love of god please please change it so every single response is from 2016, and is there a way you can delete the chat threads that have actually disappeared you know when chat threads disappeared... because 90% of my search results for anything brings up chat threads from 2016
And so are pointless!

I agree with you on this op. Would be nice if the search results could be put in date order. I find the search feature on the app almost unusable.

Yes search is useless! I'm tending now to google 'blah blah mumsnet' and then choose only responses from mumsnet instead

Agreed, what's the point of bringing up a load of threads you can't access?!

I agree! I also use google to search Mumsnet because this feature is so bad

The search function is completely useless. I searched 'selling textbooks' earlier and got a load of posts about selling houses and posts from a user called textbook. And obviously nothing less than 4 years old. Also on iOS.

Also have this issue on android
