Mine's fine. Try runnibg your anti virus and ad aware and spybot- you could have little spybots slowing it down

io don't know about mac's but I know that when my pc slows down I run spybot, adaware adn avg and it speeds up

I tel you what is weird about mine...

When I click on active convos, it doesn't give me current AC, I get how it was five minutes ago or so, so it tells me - for example - Pixiefish was the last poster on this thread of 2 messages, when it's really me at 5 messages. So then I click again, and it brings it up to date. (but I can click again later and I get the first list again - eg pixie & only 2 messages)

And same with threads I'm on and stuff.

Doesn't show all messages, but changes when you refresh - not that messages have JUST been posted, I'm talking messages several minutes old, posted before my initial click, iyswim.

It's gone mental.

MyTwopenceworth · 27/08/2007 14:39

And THAT was as clear as mud. Sorry.

MyTwopenceworth · 27/08/2007 14:43

HA! It did it just now! Showed Pixiefish as last poster, when I clicked...it was ME!

TECH - Are you messing with me?

I know exactly what you mean, Pruners. I keep expecting a Netscape browser to appear.

Tech · 27/08/2007 15:38

Hi, Sorry you've been having problems. Pruners, we'll let the ad agency know you've been seeing stalling on ads, but unfortunately they won't be open till tomorrow as it's a bank holiday in the UK today.

MyTwopenceworth, what you are seeing normally indicates a problem with your local cache of pages. If you are using Internet Explorer, deleting your "temporary internet files" (under tools, options on the menu) might help. If you are on a different browser, look for an option called "Empty Cache" or "Clear private data".

Hope this helps.

Thanks Tech

Are you sure it's not you? [suspicious]
