Pop up adverts on phone

I'm having the same issue. Only been getting them in secret mode (I use an adblocker outside secret mode, though I still get banner ads) so I can't screenshot. They've all been spammy crap along the lines of "You have been randomly selected to win [some bullshit prize] for your loyalty to Google/Three/whatever", with URLs like 'mobilewinnersclub[dot]com'. The phone and browser back buttons and the tab button all stop working, so the only way to get rid of them is to close my internet app and reopen it, but the ads come up within minutes of going on this site so it's completely unusable. I'm not clicking on anything - the ads come up randomly as I'm scrolling.

This only started for me today, but I haven't used the site for a few days so it may have been going on longer. I'm using the mobile site on the Samsung Internet app, on a Galaxy J3.

@itfigures Try scrolling all the way down to the bottom and click on 'view mobile site'. This solves most mobile-based browser problems on MN.

Also, if anyone is able to provide links to the dodgy ads (click ad with wifi and data turned off, it will load URL without taking you to the page) then please do!

I'm also getting these repeatedly, only on mumsnet and only when I'm logged out. It doesn't matter which page it seems, though I'm generally viewing style and beauty. I'm on android using chrome. Seems to be mobileonlinewinner.club

I've been getting loads of these, random threads. Mostly from abnegatealcade.club, supposedly an EE winner thing, only been getting these on mumsnet. Android, using phone. It's only been happening since Christmas
