Tagging posters

Hello.

When attempting to tag a poster they don't appear.
I use the @ and start typing out their name and a blank white box appears at the bottom of the screen where the names usually appear. However nothing does.

I have double checked the names and tried this on a number of threads.

I am using the most updated version on IOS

I think is is because certain posters have opted out of being @-ed.

I'm not sure it's that. I've opted out of being tagged but people can still type @ in front of my username and it appears on the thread. I opted out because I don't want emails telling me I've been tagged.

@DramaAlpaca I can only @ you by typing out your name myself, you aren't showing up on the dropdown.

I have also opted out of being e-mailed but I think I still appear on the dropdown IYSWIM

@SmuggyMcKnobson you came up. Sometimes nobody comes up at all and it will be a full thread with a lot of contributions.

Interesting. I can see OP and myself on the dropdown (which I had to look for as I've never used it) but not you Smuggy. It all seems very inconsistent, really.

We can confirm some people have opted out of being tagged!

Hi there, @BovaryX - you can unless turned the feature off via Customise Settings - hope that helps but do let us know if you need more pointers.
