Is there a secret I’m not party to?

I am continually being logged out of Mumsnet. I can sign in at 6.30am, have a mooch around the boards for an hour, skip to the BBC website for example, come back in 10 minutes and I am logged out. It is so frustrating! Am I doing something wrong?

I have been having the same problem for months now! I did contact MNHQ about it and they had a look, but didn't seem to be able to fix the problem. It's really annoying, especially at the moment when I'm posting on a thread regularly.

@SoMuchToBits thank goodness it’s not just me, I thought I was going crazy! I was convinced I couldn’t use the boards properly when I have been here for donkeys years!

Ah no - this sounds really annoying.
Can you let us know what device and browser you're using?
Can we also ask - when you're on the log in page, is the 'keep me logged in' box ticked?

@LilyMumsnet Hi, I’m on an iPad using Safari. The keep me logged in box is ticked. However, it does the same thing on my new IPhone X. I thought I was computer savvy but this has me stumped! Thanks for the response.

@FlissMumsnet Yep, sure, not trying to be difficult but tried other browsers before contact. Will try again and advise.

I'm using Internet Explorer on a laptop, and yes, my keep me logged in box is ticked too.

I always had this on iPad ( not on iPhone). But once Imswitched off private browsing, bingo, by magic it's all sorted

I get this on chrome with windows 10,I have the stay logged in button ticked, it happens often
